ThermoTx Adds New Tennis Elbow Brace to Its Line of
Muscle Stimulation/TENS Braces for Mobile Therapy and Pain Relief
Combining Hot or Cold Therapy with a Muscle Stimulation/TENS unit
Provides Synergistic Injury Treatment for a Faster Recovery
Irvine, CA—October 10, 2007—ThermoTx™, a rapidly expanding medical appliance manufacturer, will be showcasing their new FDA approved ThermoSTIM™ tennis elbow brace along with knee and back braces in booth #1440 at the upcoming American Society of Anesthesiologists Annual Meeting. The trade show will be open October 14-16, 2007, at San Francisco’s Moscone Center.
ThermoSTIM’s innovatively designed therapy products combine either hot or cold therapies with a muscle stimulation/TENS unit. The comfortable, durable brace design allows for complete patient mobility during treatment without interrupting daily activities. Because ThermoSTIM products treat the symptoms of pain and swelling while concurrently rehabilitating muscles, patients can be back to a less painful, active life while avoiding over-use of medications.
Dr. Henry Chang, a practicing anesthesiologist and interventional pain specialist with more than 30 years of pain management experience, partnered in the development of the ThermoSTIM braces. “We developed these therapy products to give patients an effective and proven solution for pain management and treatment of muscular-skeletal injuries. By combining modalities of Electrical Muscle Stimulation (EMS) and Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) with hot or cold therapies, we’ve created a unique system that synergistically treats injuries and speeds healing and recovery. Patients are able to resume their daily tasks while continuing rehabilitation therapy outside their doctor’s office, physical therapist’s clinic or athletic training room,” stated Dr. Chang.
ThermoTx will have the ThermoSTIM braces available for sale in their trade show booth #1440. MSRP’s are $275 for the tennis elbow brace, $325 for the knee brace, $375 for the S/M back brace and $385 for the L/XL back brace. The products can also be purchased via the company’s website www.thermotx.com. With the success of the knee and back braces, and the introduction of the new tennis elbow brace, ThermoTx will continue to expand its brace line with other area-specific designs in Q1 2008.
