The ThermoSTIM™ product line includes comfortable light weight braces with built in pockets to accommodate Cold or Hot Therapy in combination with Electrical Muscle Stimulation (EMS) and TENS.  A range of power settings permits fine adjustment of the degree of EMS and TENS.  No external power is required which offers total portability.  The brace produces an immediate healing effect – you will feel the difference right away!

Combining Cold Therapy simultaneously with TENS treatments causes a synergetic effect which maximizes the treatment benefits to injured muscles.  Low-level electric stimulation of the muscles and nerves facilitates the release of endorphins that effectively block the sensation of pain.  The combined treatments also reduce swelling, improve blood circulation and promote healing of injured tissues.

Muscle Stimulation treatments are used specifically to help re-train muscle function and promote continued healing.  Heat Therapy has been shown to help relax muscles and increase blood circulation to the injured area.  After using the TENS with a cold therapy to reduce the swelling, Muscle Stimulation with Heat Therapy can maximize muscle relaxation and pain control to accelerate strengthening, re-training and recovery of muscles.
